Job summary

St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a part-time Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Support Services department at the Melbourne location. You will supervise staff across Food Services, Environmental Services, Porters and Cleaners, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Experience in a hospital environment, a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, PSA certification, and NDIS check are preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate HLTFSE005
• HLTFSE007
• PSA Certificate or equivalent
• NDIS check (or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience in a commercial cook chill kitchen
• Previous experience in Environmental Cleaning in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all areas within Support Services, including Food Services/Environmental Services/Porters/Cleaners
• Daily staff replacement and rostering
• Maintain documentation and procedures for Food safety standards
• Input inpatient menus into the menu system
• Oversee the centralized food service system and meal plating
• Conduct monthly internal audits of cleaning, food and surveys
• Maintain stock levels and complete daily orders
• Maintain daily cleaning schedules
• Ensure staff training is current
• Ensure OH&S processes are completed; report staff issues to Manager
