Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a part-time Coordinator at Berengarra, Melbourne. The role oversees daily operations of Support Services across Food Services, Environmental Services, Porters and Cleaners, ensuring audits, rostering, training and OH&S compliance are met.

You’ll lead a team, manage documentation, and support quality outcomes in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, PSA certificate, experience in a similar role, and NDIS

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate HLTFSE005 & HLTFSE007 required.
• PSA Certificate or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hospital setting.
• Experience in Environmental Cleaning in a hospital setting.
• Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete service to meet activity, quality and service standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Support Services department.
• Supervise all team members and ensure quality outcomes.
• Lead Food Services, Environmental Services, Porters and Cleaners.
• Manage rostering data and ensure documentation and procedures meet standards.
• Coordinate inpatient menus and input data into the inpatient menu system.
• Oversee centralized food service system and participate in meal plating.
• Ensure monthly audits for cleaning, food and surveys are completed.
• Maintain stock levels and complete orders; ensure cleaning schedules are kept.
• Ensure OH&S processes are followed and staff issues escalated to Manager.
