Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Health & Safety Project Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the H&S function. You will work with the Health & Safety Manager, coordinating plans, reporting, dashboards and stakeholder engagement to drive improvements for staff and the wider university community.

You will ensure data-driven insights, maintain project documentation and assist with governance, risk and compliance activities within a dynamic university environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Health & Safety activities, including risk assessments, audits and compliance programs.
• Demonstrated project coordination or project support experience in a complex organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Health & Safety projects across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate project plans, schedules, reporting and administrative activities.
• Monitor project progress, track deliverables and prepare updates and dashboards.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagements, meetings and minutes.
• Analyse data to support reporting, insights and decision-making.
• Provide administrative, procurement and logistics support across the H&S function.
• Support governance, risk and issue management and continuous improvement initiatives.
