Job summary

UNSW in Sydney seeks a strategic leader to drive the portfolio of student success, community and partnerships. You will design and deliver programs, build external health, wellbeing and sport partnerships, and coordinate major university-wide events.

Your role includes leading volunteer and ambassador programs, ensuring governance and engaging with diverse student cohorts to improve belonging and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with substantial experience or equivalent competence.
• Experience designing and delivering student engagement programs for diverse student populations.
• Proven ability to establish and manage strategic partnerships with external organisations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and report writing for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and end-to-end delivery of the portfolio's student success initiatives.
• Establish and lead strategic external partnerships aligned to portfolio and university strategies.
• Plan and deliver large-scale, university-wide events with budget, risk management and evaluation.
• Manage PVCSS student volunteer and paid ambassador programs including recruitment and training.
