Job summary

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) invites applications for the role of Manager, Support Services. This senior position leads Maintenance, Food Services, Cleaning, Laundry and related functions to deliver safe, high-quality health and aged care services across REDHS.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, coordinate contractors, drive service planning, risk management and continuous improvement, and report to the Director Allied Health & Community Services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in support services, facilities management, hospitality, health services or a related operational environment.
• Strong people management skills with experience leading diverse teams.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing contractors, operational budgets and service performance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of Maintenance, Food Services, Cleaning and Laundry operations
• Fleet management, including vehicle procurement, allocation, maintenance, utilisation and compliance
• Management of accommodation services, including allocation, maintenance and occupancy management
• Oversight of workplace health and safety, infection prevention and environmental hygiene practices
• Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, accreditation, food safety and OH&S requirements
• Contractor management and service monitoring, budget planning and continuous improvement
