Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is seeking a Support Services Manager to oversee Environmental Services, Patient Services, Porters, Laundry, Food Services including Cafe and Procurement. You will ensure the facility remains clean, hygienic, compliant, and efficiently operated, while maintaining safety for patients, staff and visitors.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will lead a team through regular meetings, address complex issues, and maintain HSV compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritise work and adapt to fluctuating workloads while following daily work schedules.
• Ability to provide effective leadership to multiple teams.
• Ability in driving and leading teams to deliver high quality service, within budgetary objectives.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Services, Patient Services Assistant, Porters, Laundry and Food Services including Cafe and Procurement.
• Ensure the Health Service is clean, hygienic, pleasant and compliant with relevant standards and legislation.
• Lead regular team huddles/meetings and escalate complex issues to the Corporate Services Director.
