Job summary

Northcott is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead workforce development, learning, leadership and training compliance across a large, purpose-driven organisation. This role sits in People & Culture and collaborates with executives, subject matter experts and operational teams to shape enterprise-wide development priorities and optimise the LMS and processes.

You will establish capability frameworks, governance and reporting, ensuring learning is accessible and fit for purpose

Qualifications

• Over 10 years' experience leading an L&D function and team.
• Proven enterprise L&D strategy, capability framework or org-wide model.
• Experience leading leadership development, workforce capability, compliance.
• Strong LMS governance including workflows, reporting and user experience.
• Degree in organisational development, HR, education or related discipline.
• Experience establishing governance and using data to improve outcomes.
• Strong change leadership, project management and communication skills.
• Experience in health or regulated service sectors highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an organisational development and learning strategy aligned with Northcott’s purpose and priorities.
• Lead governance and ongoing development of the learning management system, learner experience and data reporting.
• Partner with executives and subject matter experts to translate enterprise needs into practical learning solutions and workforce change.
• Lead organisational development initiatives strengthening leadership, career pathways and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive training compliance and workforce assurance through governance, reporting and strong cross-functional partnerships.
• Establish and maintain capability frameworks and assurance approaches for operational roles.
• Design scalable, accessible learning approaches for a dispersed workforce across locations.
• Identify and implement AI and emerging learning technologies to improve learning design, content and accessibility.
