Job summary

Marsh is seeking a senior capability lead to develop an enterprise-wide approach, starting with risk capability and expanding to broader learning needs across the organisation. Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in capability development, learning and development, organisational development, or a similar strategic HR or talent function.
• Proven capability in designing and delivering technical learning or capability programmes from concept through to implementation.
• Experience working across matrixed organisations and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
• Well-developed communication, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of a capability curriculum — beginning with risk capability — that builds technical skills and knowledge across all levels, with the curriculum expanding over time to cover broader capability and training needs across the organisation.
• Assess capability gaps and translate findings into structured learning pathways aligned with organisational priorities.
• Develop capability frameworks, competency models, governance standards, and reporting processes that support consistent delivery.
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and teams across Marsh Pacific to co-design solutions and embed learning into day-to-day work.
• Oversee the curation and delivery of learning content using internal expertise, external partnerships, and blended learning methods.
• Design evaluation approaches that measure learning outcomes, capability uplift, and business impact, and use insights to refine programmes.
