Job summary

St George Community Housing in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Housing Access & Demand Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for Housing Pathways applications and housing assistance products, ensuring vulnerable people receive timely, fair access.

Reporting to the Director, Community Housing, you will lead Pathways Officers, work with government agencies and partners to shape service delivery, drive continuous improvement, and respond to emerging housing demand.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services, housing, public administration or substantial equivalent leadership experience in social housing, homelessness or human services.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
• Experience leading complex, regulated customer service operations and contributing to strategic service planning, reform or transformation, including Housing Pathways application assessment, temporary accommodation, private rental assistance or comparable housing assistance products.
• Highly developed leadership, analytical and operational capability, including environmental scanning, policy interpretation, service design, risk and compliance management, performance reporting, budget oversight and the resolution of complex or systemic matters.
• Advanced stakeholder influence, written communication and partnership skills, including the ability to provide high-quality strategic advice to senior leaders and work effectively with vulnerable and diverse customers, government agencies, support providers and internal partners.
