Job summary

mexec in Sydney is seeking a Senior Commercial Leader to build and run the national business development function. You will provide leadership, mentoring and strategic direction as the business expands and more sales resources are added.

You will partner with technical, operations and customer care teams to tailor solutions across manufacturing, packaging, validation, testing, sterilisation and cleanrooms. The role includes developing CRM, forecasting, pipeline management and reporting to

Qualifications

• Proven success securing large, complex agreements in medtech or life sciences.
• Experience selling manufacturing solutions or equipment to life science customers.
• Ability to build relationships with senior executives and procurement teams.
• Experience establishing sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM usage.
• Mentoring or leading sales teams is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function and provide strategic direction as the business grows.
• Develop and execute national business development strategy across ANZ medtech sectors.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and customer care teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Implement commercial infrastructure including CRM, forecasting, and reporting frameworks.
• Identify and secure new enterprise customer relationships and complex deals.
• Build senior-level relationships to drive recurring revenue and market share.
• Create a strong pipeline engaging emerging medtech and biotech companies early.
