Job summary

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) seeks a Manager, Enterprise Risk Governance to strengthen governance, resilience and decision-making across a complex NSW public sector environment. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, work with senior executives and drive practical strategies to improve accountability and service delivery.

The role focuses on setting direction, delivering strategic risk insights and ensuring effective governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• An experienced governance and risk professional with public sector governance exposure.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and engage with senior executives.
• Strong communication to explain complex issues and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction – lead development and continuous improvement of enterprise risk, governance and resilience frameworks.
• Provide strategic insight – deliver risk advice and reporting to support executive decision-making and oversight by the CSNSW Audit and Risk Committee.
• Strengthen organisational resilience – oversee business continuity planning, testing and post-incident reviews.
• Drive effective governance – oversee governance committee operations, assurance activities and compliance reporting.
• Build capability and influence change – strengthen risk awareness and embed best practices across CSNSW.
• Lead a high-performing team – develop people and drive continuous improvement.
