Job summary

NSW Trustee and Guardian is seeking a strategic Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance to lead the organisation's enterprise approach to governance, risk, compliance and integrity.

Reporting to the Director, Legal, Governance and Risk, you will play a key leadership role in strengthening organisational resilience, building a culture of accountability and ensuring NSW Trustee and Guardian continues to meet its obligations as a high-performing public sector agency.

Qualifications

• Collaborative and influential leader translating governance, risk and compliance into practical solutions.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise risk, governance and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to enable better decision-making and organisational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the enterprise risk management, compliance and integrity frameworks.
• Provide trusted strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders.
• Drive the implementation of contemporary risk, governance and assurance practices.
• Oversee fraud and corruption prevention, ethics, integrity and compliance programs.
• Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes, ensuring organisational readiness and response.
• Deliver meaningful insights through governance reporting, risk analytics and performance monitoring.
• Build strong internal and external partnerships to strengthen organisational capability and accountability.
• Foster a proactive risk culture that empowers teams to manage risk and deliver outcomes confidently.
