Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking an experienced leader to run a 24x7 Network Operations Centre within a highly secure environment in Sydney. You will guide an established engineering team, influence automation and observability, and drive service excellence to deliver strong customer outcomes.

In this senior role, you will champion operational improvements, shape the NOC's future, and collaborate with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Delivery teams to lift performance and reliability across

Qualifications

• Experience leading Network Operations, Service Operations, Managed Services, or Technical Support environments.
• Proven success managing teams within a 24x7 operational support model.
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing major incidents and high-pressure operational situations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Tier 1 Network Engineers and operational support teams.
• Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents and service disruptions.
• Drive excellence across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Event Management practices.
• Improve proactive monitoring, service assurance, and operational performance.
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, reporting, and metrics.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Delivery teams for customer outcomes.
