Job summary
Harrietville Hotel Motel in Victoria seeks an experienced Hotel / Motel Manager – Accommodation Operations to lead day-to-day accommodation and guest services. You will oversee reservations, reception, housekeeping and room allocations, while guiding staff and driving revenue performance.
The role requires hands-on management, strong guest service skills, and a focus on operations across hotel and motel properties in the Alpine region.
Qualifications
- Experience managing accommodation, reservations, reception and/or housekeeping operations.
- At least one year of relevant management or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accommodation operations of the hotel and motel.
- Manage reservations, reception operations, guest check-ins/outs and room allocations.
- Oversee housekeeping to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Recruit, train, roster, supervise and support accommodation and housekeeping staff.
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and operational guidance.
- Manage the property management system and ensure accurate guest/room information.
- Monitor room availability, occupancy and revenue performance.
