Job summary

NEX Building Group in NSW is seeking a field-based inspector to visit customers' homes four days a week, assess works and coordinate trades across the Hunter region. You will compile defect reports and outline scope of works for client discussions, aligning actions with service and warranty guidelines.

The role requires strong customer service, construction knowledge, and the ability to travel. A full driver’s licence and proficiency in MS Office are essential, with a company car provided as

Responsibilities

• Conducting inspections of new homes located across the Hunter region.
• Compiling a report on any identified defects and putting a scope of works together.
• Communicating with clients to propose actions according to service and warranty guidelines.
• Assisting with the monitoring of contractor progress.
• Following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed.

About the opportunity:

In this full time, you will be on the road 4 days a week visiting customers in their homes, assessing works and coordinating trade. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines
