Job summary

NEX Building Group is seeking a Field Service Inspector to join our Hunter region team. You will inspect completed homes, identify defects, and prepare scope of works for the warranty process.

You will travel to customer homes four days per week, coordinating with trades and clients to ensure timely, quality outcomes in line with our service and warranty guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction and building process.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of new homes across the Hunter region.
• Compile reports identifying defects and scope of works.
• Communicate actions to clients per Warranty guidelines.
• Monitor contractor progress and follow up outstanding works.

About the opportunity

In this full time, you will be on the road 4 days a week visiting customers in their homes, assessing works and coordinating trade. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspections of new homes located across the Hunter region
• Compiling a report on any identified defects + plus put scope of works together
• Communicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelines
• Assisting with the monitoring of contractor progress
• Following up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as needed

About you

• Good computer and MS Office skills
