Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a compassionate physiotherapist to deliver in-home services across Western Sydney, focusing on mobility, independence and quality of life. You will work with older adults to understand priorities, provide evidence-based advice and develop practical plans that support activity and confidence.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with AHPRA and NSW Physiotherapy Board.
• Clinical experience providing care to older adults.
• In-home assessment and care planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-home assessments and prepare reports.
• Develop tailored strength, balance and mobility programs.
• Assess mobility equipment needs and provide recommendations.
• Deliver, monitor and review individual exercise programs.

What you’ll be doing

• Complete in-home assessments and prepare clear, timely reports
• Develop tailored strength, balance and mobility programs
• Assess mobility equipment needs and provide practical recommendations
• Deliver, monitor and review individual exercise programs
• Partner with clients, families and the broader Home and Community Care team to achieve agreed goals

What you’ll bring

• You’re a compassionate and capable physiotherapist who builds trust, works confidently in the community and keeps each client’s goals at the centre of care. You’ll also bring:
• A recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA and NSW Physiotherapy Board registration
• Clinical experience supporting older people and clients with chronic or complex needs
• Experience assessing needs, developing person-centred plans and evaluating outcomes
• Sound clinical judgement and the confidence to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and client or data management systems
• A current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• A current Australian driver licence and access to a vehicle
