Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes across Western Sydney. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, deliver clinical interventions, and monitor health changes to support safe, effective home care.

You’ll work with clients, families and the care team to promote independence, dignity and quality of life, guided by strong communication and compassionate practice. Driving licence and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and a nursing qualification.
• Experience in aged care or community nursing preferred.
• Strong person-centred clinical practice and communication.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community with a vehicle.
• Current Australian driver licence and insured vehicle.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse with Uniting Home Care, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to clients across Western Sydney. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you’ll assess individual needs, develop and review care plans, deliver clinical interventions, monitor changes in health and respond appropriately to support safe, effective care at home. You’ll work closely with clients, families, carers and the broader care team, providing clinical guidance and coordinating care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.

Who We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA registration and a relevant nursing qualification
• Experience in aged care or community nursing, or broader health-sector nursing experience with a genuine interest in aged care
• A commitment to contemporary, person-centred clinical practice
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work resourcefully in the community
• A compassionate and adaptable approach aligned with Uniting’s values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold
• A current Australian driver licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
