Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred home care across Western Sydney. You will assess needs, build care plans, deliver clinical interventions and monitor health to support safe, independent living at home.

You will work with clients, families and the care team, delivering guidance to promote dignity, quality of life and optimal outcomes in the community setting.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and a nursing qualification.
• Experience in aged care or community nursing preferred.
• Commitment to contemporary, person-centred clinical practice.
• Ability to work in the community and coordinate care.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Uniting Home Care, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to clients across Western Sydney. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you’ll assess individual needs, develop and review care plans, deliver clinical interventions, monitor changes in health and respond appropriately to support safe, effective care at home. You’ll work closely with clients, families, carers and the broader care team, providing clinical guidance and coordinating care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.

Who we’re looking for

• Current AHPRA registration and a relevant nursing qualification
• Experience in aged care or community nursing, or broader health-sector nursing experience with a genuine interest in aged care
• A commitment to contemporary, person-centred clinical practice
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work resourcefully in the community
• A compassionate and adaptable approach aligned with Uniting’s values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold
• A current Australian driver licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
