Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre in Macquarie University North Ryde is seeking a Front Office and Guest Services professional. A full-time role includes reception, reservations, check-in/check-out, guest payments and coordination with housekeeping to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service, communication & organisational skills, RSA certification, and flexible availability for AM/PM, weekends and some night shifts.

Formación

• Previous experience in a hotel front office or reception role.
• Current NSW RSA competency card.
• Unrestricted full work rights in Australia.
• Police check may be required.
• Flexibility to work across AM, PM, weekends and some night shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a warm, professional welcome and greeting to guests.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures with efficient check-in/out.
• Process reservations, amendments, cancellations and guest requests.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone and email.
• Handle payments and balance cash, EFTPOS and cards per procedures.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and records in the hotel PMS.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments for smooth operations.
• Assist with group bookings, conferences and university accommodation.
• Provide information on facilities, services and local attractions.
• Manage guest feedback and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Support night audit and financial reconciliation as required.
• Adhere to safety, WH&S and risk-management procedures.
