Lakeside Hotel & Conference Centre at Macquarie University North Ryde is hiring a full-time receptionist to welcome guests, manage check-in/out, reservations and payments with accuracy. You will liaise across departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences on campus grounds.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, communication and multitasking skills, with cash handling experience and a current NSW RSA card.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality preferred).
• RSA competency card and unrestricted Australian work rights required; police check may be required.
• Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests and clients.
• Manage check-in/check-out and guest requests accurately.
• Process reservations, amendments and payments per hotel procedures.
• Respond to inquiries in person, by phone and email; assist with group bookings.
