Lake Macquarie Accommodation Group is seeking a diligent Professional Housekeeper and Front Office Receptionist for a casual position. You will maintain clean guest rooms and common areas, ensure smooth reception operations, and provide friendly, efficient service to guests.

The role involves shifts including weekends and public holidays, with comprehensive training and opportunities for career growth within hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting and replenishing amenities.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as reception, hallways and restrooms.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly utilised and stored.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
• Assist guests with any housekeeping-related inquiries or requests.
• Provide efficient and professional service and ensure a smooth check in and check out process for guests.
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and pleasantly and assure that the appropriate response is made.
• Enter data into the system.
• Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk.
