Job summary

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is seeking Guest Services Agents for multiple openings. You will greet guests warmly on arrival, assist by phone and in person, and maintain high security and confidentiality standards.

You will manage reservations, billing, and messages to ensure a seamless guest experience. Ideal candidates bring strong front office experience, professional demeanor, and excellent communication and selling skills to maximise occupancy and rates while staying calm under

Qualifications

• Front Office/Reception experience required.
• Knowledge of Opera/Fidelio is required; Opera Cloud is desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive first and last impression for guests on arrival and departure.
• Handle information and billing accurately during arrival and departure.
• Follow cash and security procedures.
• Ensure reservations have correct rates.
• Record and pass on messages accurately.
• Prioritize guest experience in all interactions.
• Maximise yield in occupancy and rates where possible.

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.

The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

Job Description

We are seeking Guest Services Agents . Multiple positions are available. Provide a genuine positive first and last impression welcoming our guests to the island. Deliver a great hospitality experience in person and by phone whilst maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

• Ensure professionalismand accuracy with information and billing during arrival and departure
• Follow cash and security procedures
• Ensure reservations have correct rates
• Accurately record and pass on messages
• Ensure Guest Experience is a priority on all occasions
• Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates
