Daydream Island Resort is seeking a warm, professional Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team on a part-time basis. You will be a welcoming first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, inquiries and requests to ensure memorable stays on Daydream Island in the Whitsundays.

This role requires guest-focused service, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and evenings.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Front Office, reception, reservations or guest services in hotel, resort or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident with computer systems and reservation platforms.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and evenings.

Aufgaben

• Provide welcoming, friendly, professional first impression for guests arriving at the resort.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Manage guest reservations, room allocations, registrations, payments and billing inquiries.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via digital channels with accurate information.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints with empathy and timely resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of resort facilities, dining, experiences, and operating hours.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Activities and other departments to address needs.
• Process payments and maintain cash, card and account records.
