Job summary

Daydream Island Resort and Spa is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies, and enforce safety regulations. You will provide first aid and CPR when required and work alongside the Resort team to maintain safety and presentation standards.

Based off island, this live position requires proactive and calm performance, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage time and priorities in a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Pool Lifeguard Certificate ( SISSS00133 ), First Aid, CPR, and Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen provider qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island.

The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

About the role

This role is a live off island position.
