Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Retail & Visitor Experience Team Member in Queensland to welcome visitors, manage ticketing, and assist with hospitality operations. This role offers a path to becoming a Tour Guide, sharing stories and delivering engaging experiences in a dynamic tourism environment.

You will engage with guests, support events, and help drive sales while maintaining a welcoming, high-standard site. RSA certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, customer service, or another customer-facing environment.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) or willingness to obtain.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, confident, and engaging personality.
• Genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse visitors.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude and ability to learn.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences.
• Welcome visitors and assist with ticketing and admissions.
• Support retail sales and merchandise presentation.
• Assist with bar service and hospitality operations.
• Support the delivery of onsite events and experiences.
• Maintain site presentation and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Build positive relationships and provide accurate information about the venue.
• Learn the brand story, products, and visitor offerings.
• Contribute to achieving customer service, visitation, and sales targets.
• Develop skills to progress into a Tour Guide position.
