Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Guest Services Associate to join our Rydges hotel team in Melbourne. You will deliver warm, professional service at check-in and check-out, assist guests with requests, and collaborate with housekeeping and reservations to meet every guest's needs.

Bring at least 1 year in a GSA/front desk role, strong communication, and attention to detail. The role offers on-site work, career growth, and generous EVT perks for day-one staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a GSA in a hotel or similar role.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in front office operations including check-in/out and handling guest accounts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, providing warm welcomes and farewells, and promptly responding to requests, messages, and concerns.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, including accurate check-in/check-out, cashiering, daily transactions, and opening/closing duties in line with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure rooms, special requests, and guest expectations are fully met.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, packages, and local area knowledge to confidently assist guests and maximise service quality.
• Uphold hotel policies, WH&S standards, training requirements, and equipment care while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
