Job summary

Artemus Group is seeking a Duty Manager to lead the front-of-house team and ensure exceptional service across all guest touchpoints. You will oversee service flow, collaborate with kitchen and bar, and drive a high-performing culture from shift to shift.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership during busy services, maintaining standards, and delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a busy hospitality venue.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and lead from the front.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and create memorable guest experiences.
• Coach, mentor and motivate front-of-house teams.
• Support the Restaurant or Venue Manager with daily operations.
• Manage labour, service standards and shift performance.
• Handle guest feedback with confidence and professionalism.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, RSA and workplace procedures.
• Create a positive, high-performing team culture.
