Job summary

Artemus Group is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager for our premium dining venue in Manly. You will support the Venue Manager and General Manager in leading day-to-day operations and mentoring a high-performing team to deliver memorable experiences from the moment guests arrive.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong organisational and communication skills, who can stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities. A current RSA and passion for hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership within premium dining or high-volume hospitality.
• Hands-on leader who motivates their team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the guest experience and continually look for opportunities to improve.
• Lead and coach a diverse team ensuring strong team culture.
• Monitor wages, comps and wastages.
• Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist guests with feedback and action as appropriate.
• Contribute to a culture of care and safety in the business.
• Ensure venue presentation is consistently high.
• Liaise with other departments regularly.
• Maintain a high knowledge of the product produced in venue.
