Job summary

Artemus Group is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager for our premium dining venue in Manly. You will support the Venue Manager and General Manager in leading day-to-day operations and mentoring a high-performing team to deliver memorable experiences from the moment guests arrive.

We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong organisational and communication skills, who can stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities. A current RSA and passion for hospitality are essential.

• Experience in leadership within premium dining or high-volume hospitality.

• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the guest experience and continually look for opportunities to improve.
• Lead and coach a diverse team ensuring strong team culture.
• Monitor wages, comps and wastages.
• Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist guests with feedback and action as appropriate.
• Contribute to a culture of care and safety in the business.
• Ensure venue presentation is consistently high.
• Liaise with other departments regularly.
• Maintain a high knowledge of the product produced in venue.

We are currently now recruitment for a passionate and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team. As our Assistant Venue Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager and General Manager in leading day-to-day operations, motivating and mentoring the team, and ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve

• Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate

• Ensuring venue presentation is at a high standard at all times
• Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
• A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
