Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking a Count Room Clerk to maintain accurate cash handling and reporting within the count/drop area of the Finance Department. You will handle currency, coins, and tickets, operate count room machinery, and assist with drops and reconciliations.

The role requires physical tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Experience with Pit Boss and ten-key is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
• Ten-key experience preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings and extended hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of Gaming Commission laws, rules and dept. policies and controls.
• Ensures integrity of count room transactions.
• Removes and replaces bill validators from machines and secures them.
• Transports carts with security to count room.
• Assists in slot and kiosk drops, counts money and reconciles gaming revenue.
• Prepares and verifies reports; reconciles totals to Master Games Summary and secures signatures.
