Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations, focusing on exceptional guest experiences and seamless front office performance. You will report to the Rooms Division Manager and collaborate with F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a hotel management degree, at least 2 years in a leadership role, and strong communication. Proficiency with Opera PMS and knowledge of safety procedures are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of guest service/hotel experience in a leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Opera PMS is essential; Infrasys is a plus.
• Knowledge of fire evacuation and WHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experiences and monitor team performance on shift.
• Prioritise workload to deliver authentic, memorable experiences.
• Engage guests to resolve issues and questions promptly.
• Drive key metrics to improve guest experiences and service.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across departments.
• Display product knowledge of rooms, rates, packages to boost revenue.
• Perform routine property walks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Act as first responder in emergencies.
