Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking a Reception Manager to lead the Front Office and deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

You will coach staff, manage operations, and ensure adherence to IHG standards while supporting budgeting and revenue initiatives. A management role with flexibility to work varied shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel guest service experience including in a management role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business (preferred).
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong English communication skills.
• WA Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Approved Manager certification.
• Current police clearance (within 6 months).
• Valid RSA and Food Handling Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Front Office to ensure guest service aligns with IHG True Hospitality Service Skills and Holiday Inn standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and brand standards.
• Provide coaching and training to Front Office staff.
• Lead and engage the team with strong communication and leadership.
• Handle guest feedback and maintain a high standard of IHG One Rewards delivery.
• Support budgeting, labour management, financial reporting and auditing.
• Promote occupancy and revenue growth through upselling and walk-in conversions.
• Oversee billing compliance, safety procedures, and act as Duty Manager when required.

Position: Reception Manager (Full time)

Join us in creating genuinely memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. As the Reception Manager, you will manage all front office operations while fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

What you will do:

• Oversee the day to day operation of the Front Office department to ensure guest service is delivered in line with IHG True Hospitality Service Skills and Holiday Inn Service Standards
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and IHG brand standards.
• Provide regular coaching and training to the Front office team
• Inspire and engage your team through strong communication skills and leadership.
• Handle guest feedback, deliver exceptional service, and ensure a high standard of IHG One Rewards delivery.
• Support budgeting, labour management, financial reporting and auditing.
• Promote occupancy and revenue growth through upselling and walk-in conversions.
• Oversee billing compliance, safety protocols, and emergency procedures as Chief Warden when required.
• Ensure adherence to WHS and IHG brand standards.
• Act as Duty Manager when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of hotel guest service experience including in a management role.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business (preferred).
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
