Job summary

Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to join the Front Office team on a casual and part-time basis. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in/out, handle bookings payments, and provide concierge services to ensure a memorable stay.

Candidates should deliver exceptional guest service, stay calm under pressure, be well presented, and able to work a seven-day rotating roster, including some night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel guest services is preferred.
• Ability to work seven-day rotating roster including night shifts.
• Previous Opera PMS experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring a swift and seamless process.
• Take, manage, and receive payments for guest bookings.
• Assist with general guest enquiries.
• Guest services including concierge and porter.
• Anticipate guests' needs and offer tailored recommendations.
• Maintain accurate accounts.

Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne is a four-and-a-half-star hotel located on the picturesque banks of the Yarra River in Richmond. Part of the Amora Hotels & Resorts Group, with properties across Australia and Thailand, the hotel features 157 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, including 45 stylish new rooms added as part of a recent expansion. Our restaurant operates Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner seven days a week, complemented by two bars and 15 versatile conference and banquet spaces, making Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne a dynamic and rewarding hospitality environment.

About the Role

We are currently seeking Casual and Part Time Guest Service Agentsto join our Front Office Team.

Your warm and welcoming smile, positive can-do attitude and a willingness toensure that our guests have the most memorable stay are allattributes that come naturally to you.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Check-inand Check-outour guests, making the process feel swift and seamless

Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings

Assisting with general guest enquiries

Guest services including concierge and porter

Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations

Maintaining accurate accounts

Ensure all ofour guests have a memorable experience at our great hotel

What we’re looking for

Ideally, with previous Hotel Front Office experience

Previous experience with Opera PMS will be highly regarded.
