Qualifications

• At least 3 years in business development or B2B sales with a proven record of hitting targets.
• Experience in waste, environmental, trade or industrial services is a plus.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills; comfortable presenting to decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Find, target and win new customers in commercial, industrial and government sectors.
• Build your pipeline through prospecting, outbound calls, site visits, networking and industry events.
• Turn opportunities into long-term service agreements and recurring scheduled work.
• Prepare proposals, pricing and tender submissions with input from operations.
• Price work to margin and negotiate contract terms and renewals.
• Hand new accounts over smoothly to operations and customer service.
• Spot cross-selling opportunities across our group brands.
• Keep the CRM accurate and forecast monthly and quarterly results.
