Job summary

Slattery Grays in Sydney is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to grow a portfolio of industrial equipment, automotive, and general assets. This hybrid role is phone-first with occasional client visits, and you will build trusted relationships while delivering revenue growth.

You will work closely with BDMs and internal teams, identify upsells, manage pre- to post-sale activity, and provide accurate performance reporting. A clear pathway to a BDM or senior AM role awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management or a client-facing sales role.
• Track record of hitting targets and growing accounts.
• Strong communicator with ability to handle tough conversations.
• Able to use CRM to manage your portfolio.
• Organised and self-directed; manages own time and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• A portfolio of existing clients: building trust, growing revenue, keeping retention high
• Spotting upsells and cross-sell opportunities within your accounts
• Negotiating reserves and managing clients pre-to-post sale, working alongside BDMs to deliver clean outcomes
• Account plans and performance reporting; knowing your numbers and staying ahead of issues
• Resolving client issues quickly and feeding their input back into how we operate
