Job summary

SSI Group seeks an experienced Facilitator – Men’s Behaviour Change to lead group and individual sessions, conduct intake interviews and coordinate with partner services to prioritise safety. The role covers risk assessment, documentation and community engagement in a Logan-based program serving migrants and refugees.

The successful candidate will work with our DFV services team to ensure culturally responsive and accountable service delivery, including after-hours availability and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience delivering intake and assessment interviews.
• Knowledge of DFSV and dynamics of violence.
• Ability to work with people from migrant/refugee backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Review and triage referrals into the program.
• Conduct intake and assessment interviews to assess risk, readiness and suitability.
• Co-facilitate group and individual sessions per program manual.
• Contribute to risk assessment, participant engagement and case documentation.
• Maintain accurate case notes and reflections per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Women's Safety Practitioner and partner services to prioritise safety.
• Engage with local communities to raise awareness and support.
• Maintain professionalism with culturally responsive, non-judgmental approach.
