Job summary

SSI Group is seeking a Coordinator – Men’s Behaviour Change to lead the SHER program in Queensland. The role focuses on accountability for violence, safety of women and children, and culturally responsive service delivery in Logan, Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast.

You will supervise the Facilitator and work with the Women’s Safety Practitioner to deliver high-quality DFSV interventions, build partnerships, and ensure accreditation and compliance across the program.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering behaviour change interventions for men who use domestic and family violence or have complex needs.
• Strong cultural capability and work with migrant and refugee communities.
• Understanding of DFSV impacts on women and children, especially from migrant/refugee backgrounds.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, motivational interviewing, and relevant acts.
• Proven ability to engage communities and navigate multicultural-sector policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations, delivery and facilitation coverage.
• Monitor performance, collect data and complete program reporting.
• Support referral screening, participant intake and group/individual facilitation.
• Build stakeholder partnerships and referral pathways; community engagement.
• Prioritise safety of women and children and represent SSI at relevant forums.
• Supervise and mentor the Facilitator to ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain HSQF accreditation, manage risk and ensure compliance.

Education

Tertiary qualification in social work, counselling, psychology, human services or related discipline
