Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Men’s Behaviour Change Practitioner to deliver group-based intervention for men identified as perpetrators of family violence. Based in Epping, you will undertake intake assessments, run sessions, and provide referrals within a collaborative team to manage risk and enhance safety.

This casual role offers SCHADS Level 5 hourly rate plus super, with opportunities for training and career development in a supportive organisation committed to child safety and community welfare.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent.
• Graduate Certificate in Client Assessment and Case Management, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience working in the family violence service system.
• Previous experience in group facilitation.
• Proven experience in family violence intervention and service delivery.
• Knowledge of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and MARAM framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group-based family violence intervention for men identified as perpetrators.
• Conduct initial intake assessments and individual sessions as required.
• Provide appropriate referrals to consumers referred to the program.
• Work within a dynamic team and collaborate with other services to manage risk and safety.
