Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of life insurance claims processes including assessment and investigation.
• Ability to interpret policy terms and make clear, well-reasoned decisions.

• Knowledge of insurance regulatory and legal frameworks.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage a portfolio of life risk disability claims in line with policy requirements.
• Meet service standards while supporting positive customer satisfaction outcomes.
• Maintain effective oversight of claim workflows and portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory obligations.
• Communicate proactively with clients, advisers, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams including rehabilitation, medical, and reinsurance partners.
