Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain lawns and gardens at Green Hills Residential Care Home in East Maitland. You will operate equipment, support resident-led projects, and ensure outdoor areas are safe, accessible, and inviting for residents, families, and staff.

You will bring hands-on grounds maintenance experience, a practical can-do attitude, and a willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check. A valid driver’s licence and basic IT skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds or garden maintenance.
• A practical, can-do attitude and attention to detail.
• Confidence using equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check for aged care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, car park and outdoor spaces to a high standard.
• Operate and care for equipment (ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, etc.).
• Support resident-led garden projects and make outdoor areas accessible for all.
• Work safely and help others do the same.
• Respond to feedback and collaborate with the Maintenance/Property Services team.

Groundskeeper

• Permanent - Full Time, 38 hours per week position
• Located in East Maitland at our beautifully designed Green Hills Residential Care Home

Your Contribution
