Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities in East Maitland is looking for a Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces at Green Hills Residential Care Home. This permanent, full-time role (38 hours) supports residents and families to enjoy the outdoors and collaborates with the Maintenance/Property Services team.

You will operate lawn equipment, bring a practical can-do attitude, and must hold a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

Experience maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor spaces.
Safe operation of outdoor equipment (ride-on mowers, trimmers).
Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding role.
Valid driver’s licence.
Friendly, helpful approach with residents, staff and visitors.
Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check for aged care.

Responsibilities

Maintain lawns, gardens, car park and other outdoor spaces to a high standard.
Operate and care for equipment (ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, etc.).
Support resident-led garden projects and help make outdoor areas accessible for all.
Works safely and help others do the same.
Respond to feedback and work with the Maintenance/Property Services team to keep everything running smoothly.
