Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent at our Rensselaer, IN elevator to assist the Superintendent with daily operations including loading/unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending, and storage of grain. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA/EPA/DOT, and leadership of hourly employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with years of OJT.
• Experience in training or leading hourly employees.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans according to the work schedule and assign shift resources.
• Ensure safety compliance and demonstrate safety leadership.
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions to protect safety and quality.
• Develop employees and train hourly labor in operations and safety.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and sanitation schedules.
