Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust, a leading fiduciary, custody and digital business in Australia, seeks an Incident Manager to strengthen governance and oversight of outsourcing relationships. You will investigate incidents, oversee remediation, and identify systemic risk while partnering with internal teams and external providers.

The role emphasizes risk, compliance and customer outcomes, with reporting to management and boards.

Qualifications

• Degree in law, business, accounting or economics.
• At least three years in financial services.
• Experience monitoring administrators or registry providers.
• Knowledge of managed investment schemes and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead incidents, breaches and complaints involving outsourced service providers.
• Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and highlight control weaknesses or emerging risks.
• Review and challenge remediation plans, ensuring actions are delivered effectively and on time.
• Assess service provider performance and risk exposures, including oversight of service level agreements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to promote strong risk, compliance and customer outcomes.
• Prepare reporting, analysis and insights for management, committees and boards.
• Drive continuous improvements to incident management processes, governance practices and operational controls.
