Authentic Security is seeking a practical and capable Manager – Governance & Continuous Improvement to support our Australian operations. This hands‑on role coordinates governance, risk, assurance and continuous improvement activities, working closely with operational leaders to ensure frameworks and controls are effective, sustainable and embedded in day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate the Australian governance, risk and control framework.
Support operational teams to maintain effective controls and appropriate evidence.
Coordinate internal and external audit and assurance activities, including remediation of findings.
Maintain key governance registers and provide clear management reporting on risks, controls and actions.
Identify emerging risks, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
Support incident, breach and root‑cause review processes and track corrective actions to closure.
Coordinate relevant third‑party and subcontractor governance activities.
Partner with operational leaders to improve processes, consistency and business performance.
Provide practical guidance to managers and control owners across Australia.
About you
Experience in governance, risk, compliance, assurance or continuous improvement.
Experience in an operational, regulated or service‑based environment.
A practical understanding of risk and control frameworks and exposure to audit or assurance.
Strong stakeholder engagement, written communication and organisational skills.
Confidence working independently, managing competing priorities and constructively challenging where required.
A pragmatic, collaborative approach to problem solving and sustainable improvement.
Candidate must undergo a National Police and Credit Check.
