Job summary

Optus Business Centre Gold Coast – Bundall, QLD is seeking an outbound-focused Business Development Manager to win new SMB/Mid-Market telecommunications and technology solutions across the Gold Coast.

You will prospect, qualify, and close deals with business owners and IT leaders, maintaining a CRM-driven pipeline and delivering tailored Optus mobile, internet and care solutions. This full-time role offers a base salary of $80k plus super, a company vehicle, and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business in B2B sales.
• Experience in telco or channel/dealer environments is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, qualify, and win new SMB/Mid-Market opportunities.
• Outbound calling and face‑to‑face meetings with business owners and IT leaders.
• Recommend Optus mobile, internet and communications solutions based on needs.
• Build and maintain executive relationships across Gold Coast region.
• Manage CRM-based sales pipeline with activity and revenue KPIs.
• Identify upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and outcomes.
