Optus is seeking a Business Solutions Consultant in Caloundra to support local small businesses with tailored telecom and digital solutions. You will work in-store, leveraging product knowledge across mobile, broadband and fixed services, and mentor teammates to grow store capability.

You will engage with business customers, providing confident, consultative recommendations and solving operational challenges while aligning with Optus guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support the team to identify opportunities and elevate the business customer experience.
• Stay up to date with small business updates, offers and market trends, sharing insights in daily huddles and store updates.
• Own business enquiries with calm professionalism, supporting compliance and merchandising requirements.

Your day to day will consist of:

• Act as the Business Solutions subject matter expert instore, identifying business customers early and matching them with solutions that support their business growth.
• Build and maintain strong capability across products and processes, including mobile, broadband, fixed services, credit and activation, plus share this knowledge with your wider team.
• Deliver confident, consultative conversations by understanding business customer needs and providing tailored solutions that solve real operational challenges.
• Mentor and support your team to spot opportunities, offer the right solutions and elevate the overall business customer experience across the store.
• Stay up to date with small business updates, tactical offers and market trends, sharing insights through daily huddles, coaching moments and store updates.
• Own business enquiries using calm professionalism and strong problem solving skills, while supporting operational excellence by managing compliance and merchandising requirements.
