Job summary

OSW Group is expanding its after-sales support for residential solar PV, hybrid inverters and battery storage. You will diagnose issues, interpret system data, and handle alarms while collaborating with manufacturers to resolve warranty cases.

Ideal candidates bring solar/OEM experience across brands, multi-brand support, and a knack for creating SOPs and training materials for installers and support teams. CRM experience and an interest in AI-driven platforms are a plus.

Qualifications

• Solar and OEM experience across multiple inverter or battery brands.
• Experience with a solar/battery manufacturer, distributor or major retailer.
• Multi-brand technical support or warranty/RMA management experience.
• Experience building SOPs, knowledge bases or training materials for installers/support teams.
• Comfort with CRM, ticketing or case-management systems.
• Electrical, solar or engineering qualification (licence a bonus).
• Curiosity about AI-assisted support or digital service platforms.
• Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues across residential solar PV, hybrid inverters and battery energy storage systems.
• Read and interpret SOC and charging/discharging behaviour, solar generation vs. household load, and grid import/export data.
• Work through inverter and battery alarms, CT and smart meter readings, RS485 comms issues, and remote monitoring platforms.
• Handle firmware, configuration, operating modes and commissioning questions.
• Manage warranty troubleshooting and RMA cases through to resolution with manufacturers.
• Turn recurring cases into clear, reusable troubleshooting SOPs and stronger technical knowledge.
• Help train installers and technical support teams on what you know.
• Contribute to improving AI-assisted technical support quality over time.
