Job summary

axr Recruitment & Search is sourcing a Global RGM Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract with an FMCG business in Sydney's CBD. The role is three days in-office, with start ASAP and a finish around end-April 2027, circa AUD 170k plus super.

Reporting to the Global RGM Director, you will help stand up a standalone global function, partnering with regional teams on pricing, promotions, and product mix while building frameworks, playbooks, and analytics to drive value.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in Revenue Growth Management, commercial finance, category, pricing, or a related commercial strategy role.
  • Strong grounding in core RGM levers — pricing, promotions, trade investment, product mix, and pack-price architecture.
  • Genuine curiosity and a willingness to challenge — someone who digs into why the numbers say what they do, not just what they say.
  • Proven ability to influence senior, cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, and to hold a strong view while staying genuinely open to theirs.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to Power BI or similar analytics tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves with the detail — this isn't a role where you sit above the modelling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of global RGM frameworks, tools, and processes across international markets, with an initial focus on strategic pricing.
  • Partner directly with regional commercial teams to identify and prioritise value-creation opportunities across pricing, promotions, trade investment, product mix, and pack-price architecture.
  • Own the development of robust business cases and implementation plans for key RGM initiatives, tracking delivery against agreed milestones and value targets.
  • Turn market, customer, consumer, and competitor data into commercially actionable insight and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Build and roll out RGM capability across the business — training, coaching, and playbooks that lift the maturity of the function globally.
  • Partner across Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Category to embed RGM thinking into planning and pricing decisions, and help standardise how it's measured and reported.

Job description

This is a cracker of a 6-month, fixed-term Global RGM Manager contract with an FMCG business, based in Sydney's CBD (three days a week in-office) on a salary of circa $170k plus super. It's an immediate start, running through to approximately end of April 2027.

You'll report directly to the Global RGM Director, joining at a genuinely early point as Revenue Growth Management is stood up as a proper standalone global function — moving well beyond the pricing-only remit it's historically had in some markets.

The role is a genuine blend: you'll act as commercial business partner to regional teams across the globe on a prioritised project basis, while also playing a central role in building the frameworks, playbooks, and technology foundations the wider function will run on. There's real autonomy here to shape how things get done, not just execute someone else's playbook.

What the role looks like
  • Lead the deployment of global RGM frameworks, tools, and processes across international markets, with an initial focus on strategic pricing.
What you'll need
What makes this worth your time
  • Genuine autonomy to help shape how a newly formalised global function operates, from the ground up.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership — this role reports straight into the Global RGM Director.
  • A genuinely engaged set of stakeholders who'll challenge you and expect to be challenged back.
  • Immediate start available.

This process will move fast — so if you're the right fit, don't wait.
