Job summary

Glencore’s Mount Isa Mines Operations in Queensland seeks a Training Superintendent to lead a core team of training professionals across a large mining and processing facility. You will coordinate onboarding, competency verification and ongoing training aligned with the competency framework.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching ability, and experience in coordinating dispersed trainers, with a focus on accuracy in records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment completed.
• Diploma or higher in Training, Education, HRD or related field.
• Experience delivering and coordinating training in mining or processing environments.
• Proven leadership of training teams and performance coaching.
• Ability to coordinate across dispersed trainers and shifts.
• Strong record keeping of training records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a core team of training professionals across a large mining/processing facility.
• Coordinate onboarding, competency provision, assessment and verification.
• Ensure training delivery is consistent with the competency framework.
• Collaborate with operational areas to meet training priorities and calendars.
• Maintain training records and produce accurate reports.
